VEDS 2020 ⤴
what do you vlog about?
I believe I hold the dubious honour of "most varied videos" when it comes to VEDS. Last year, I posted to-camera chats, original songs, storytimes, ASMR, prose, poems, a review of great songs from lesser-known musicals, a vlog of dinner at a local cafe, and other assorted thoughts, conversations, and montages.
Returning to VEDS for the second year in a row, I decided that this time I would tackle the question at the heart of my organization's new podcast. Our show is called Good for All. It tells stories about disability, community, and inclusion. The underlying theme of the podcast is tied to our vision: good and full lives for everyone. What does it mean to lead a good and full life? And how to we achieve that for ourselves and others?
So this month, we're going to talk about mental health, art, creative and reflective practices, work, relationships, and all those other life things.
Find me on my channel LatinAlice.

Fellow VEDSies:
- Caleb (spartanite67)
Caleb talks about storytelling and media. This year, his theme is "nostalgia and childhood stories." His weekly "Friday forum" videos respond to comments, queries, and threads that have come up in any VEDS videos that week. On weekends, he responds to challenges, etc. (if there are any).
- Graham (Graham Strang's Roots and Routes)
Graham is a singer-songwriter based in BC. (He's also my friend IRL!) His vlogs cover music history (mainly classic rock), local history about Vancouver and nearby towns, and the life of a working musician.
- James (James F)
James plays video games and talks movies. If you're interested in settling in and watching some gameplay, or hearing what he has to say about movies new and old, hop on over to his channel.
- Jeffrey (Drummerjag)
Jeffrey's channel includes discussion of musicals and YouTube favourites, a decent amount of rambling, and if we're lucky, some appearances of Singing Guy. (Shout-out to Abbey for editing!)
- Tessa (funnygirlthatbelle)
Student, actor, musical theatre enthusiast, owner of many beautiful dice. We turn to Tessa for thoughts on theatre, fandom, student life, and sometimes...challenges.
- Tony (Tony Raven)
Tony is this year's VEDS latecomer! Joining us on Day 13, Tony is a friend of James and also makes gameplay videos. Keep an eye on his channel for videogame content and possibly movie reviews as well.
